Hey everyone, so for those that rember me, I used to own a Blue Mk5 Polo, which I sprayed Brown, broke and sold very cheap :) (long story short)

I then bought a Corrado (Dream car) for very little money, and knew it would have some problems to fix.. But I wanted a challenge, and hadn't really worked on a car much. The car always seemed to have some oil pressure issue, I put it into the garage to be checked, he said it was ok, and on the way home pissed all its all, and the bottom end was GONE! DISASTER!!!

So I had always talked about VRing the Car, it would be relatively cheap to do, and I would learn LOADS...

I moved to the midlands, got a new place with a garage and had the raddo towed by the AA :)

My fiancee's Polo burned a clutch, so first in the garage was her Polo... I have a very good friend of mine, who is a trained mechanic, and he came over and helped with the Polo. Once new clutch and we're sorted!!

So I had to decided.. VR or ABF engine.. My friends dad was selling a Golf GTI (Rotten) for £100 with an ABF engine.. how could I say no to that...

I bought the car, got it into the garage and started stripping it for parts...

I had the car removed and started selling some parts.. (Sold £80 worth in total so the engine costs me £20) Also still have a full interior lights etc to go, so I will be in profit!!

Next to go in the garage.. the Corrado..

She started out life like this:

I hated the lights and it had a bit of rust, so I fixed up the rust, and changed the lights:

Into the garage she went:

The work began:

She was a bilt filthy, so I used some magical cleaning product:

And achieved this:

I got the old wiring out, fitted the new wiring in, hide the ECU, and began to put the new engine in:

I then noticed the fuel lines wern't very long, so a trip to halfords for some more...

I then snapped the fuel rail end peice and had to spend £15 at VW:

Now the engine has fuel.. she can fire (very quickly as she has no fluids)

Saw 'T700BES' on the Corrado Forum and thought it must be you - I'm 'mrginge' on there, kerrly is my older brother who has a US yellow G60.

Cillit Bang is good stuff in the engine bay, used it in my Golf but its an Oak Green so you couldnt tell much tbh.
