Insured on other cars with permission?

Featured Replies

Right, I'm cancelling the insurance on the Gti because I'm trying to save cash and it's for sale and I don't use it. If it's not insured by me on my policy does that

mean my dad who is insured on other peoples cars through his insurance can't then drive it?

think the car has to be insured by the registered keeper,so no

but best if you ring your insurance company for solid facts regarding this

i think you might have been able to get away with it few years ago. i certainly did

rules have changed now though

Oh god no I wouldn't let my dad drive it if it was illegal. I'm pretty sure the car has to be insured anyway. Might just leave the insurance for another month. ergh Bloody rip off.
