hers some news for you lads out there, west midlands police have today informed me that they have spoken to mr wright regards this vehicle.

and after some very intense searching and investigating have confirmed that THIS CAR IS NOT STOLEN .

and that mr wright has now spoken to the owner and obtained grantee to apply for the log book presumably he has done this through the entrusted person .

therefore i would assume he will apply for a logbook and mot and tax this car ready for sale or if he,s got any sense do it up for his daughter

also they are not linking this vehicle to the one in coventry that was involved in the accident but for your information there are apparently members on this forum that are police officers anyway, and the one i spoke to in particular is a member of quite a few forums including the mk1 golf owners forum . he also understands why communities such as this one will stick together to protect each other from such purchases .

so if it comes up for sale again that would be a very good buy indeed with a few repairs and some work should make someone a very nice coupe

he also mentioned that although that car was down as exported in 1999 it was however not registered in the u.k for quite some time before that date

What a waste of police time that was.
