did anyone else report it to Ebay seeing as its not supposed to be for sale?

logical i noticed it on ebay and am simply making you all aware of the car and its situation i would have been interested had he had all the relevant docs with it like many others would have but not now see my posts re police

I've reported it first off they are aware but he is not breaking ebay rules probably becuase he has changed the listing saying he is going to try and obtain the documents mind he,s also still prepared to sell to someone without if they want he,s also saying I'm talking shit coz i want it but I've already told him I'm no longer interested basically hes,s just full if shit and making assumptions and he really thinks someones gonna by that car waaaahaaa

I don't have a problem with anyones punctuation on here lol was just saying reminded me of him, wasn't having a go :)

And yeah was me who offered £600 and said would collect tomorrow was trying to get an address but he said was gonna ring me tomorrow. I just emailed back saying I don't own a phone :)

I did report it but I was told that they can/would only investigate such serious allegations if they came from the police..

but since the police now know about it, there's no way he could sell the car even if someone did buy it..

thats exactly what i said to him shame this car is destined to be broken as if he could get the docs and a letter from the registered keeper with a contactable address then not only would it be a nice car he,d get decent money for it obviuosly he cant obtain that now he,s trying to tell me he went into dvla today and they said I'm talking crap really thats funny they didnt tell me that

have you noticed that throughout the course of th day and eve his spelling has got progressivly worse his attitude starts to show thru i.e stroppy when asked various questions that he cant answer and he starts sounding desperate plus his mood swings to and fro think hes a slice short of a pizza

I'm tempted to ask loads of questions but not buy it.

I maybe stereotyping a lot here , but reading that makes me think its some one very young just trying to get money for their wow subscription.. (My spelling and grammar is terrible too)

very strange if you asked me , I'll be putting my valver and tdi up on ebay in the near future , And i would offer every opportunity for people to come and view it... To me not being able to see it is down right fishhhhyy

no one can buy it anyway now as the councils re secired the garage its in

It is oh-so tempting to contact him and burst his little bubble about selling a stolen car by telling him exactly what he has done and that everyone who is interested is coming from here.

If you are too lazy to read the whole thread the story goes like this:

- Guy breaks into a garage.

- Finds this nice Polo.

- Breaks the window, hot-wires it and moves it into the drive.

- Tries to sell it on eBay.

- pohlohmadness finds it, posts it here and tells local authorities.

- Local authorities put the car back in the garage and re-secure the garage.

- The criminal in question plans to do viewings on Monday (17th) oblivious to the fact that most, if not all, people asking questions and arranging viewings are members of Club Polo.

I thought the car was still in the garage when the council checked on it? They wouldn't put it back in the garage as that isn't their responsibility and they could possibly find themselves liable for any damage done to thanks go our fucked up legal system.
