Sticker Bombing Dashboard

Featured Replies

So i sticker bombed my dashboard and its starting to peel in some places. I'm thinking of re doing it but the general feel is its lush and has done the job. i originally saw it on hoodedreepers breadvan and i loved it so i have done mine. i also done my petrol cap. lacquer'd it and the petrol cap is fine in the rain as i witnessed tody but a fair bit is peeling off....am thinking of re doing but have no idea how to do it as everything is just coming off?!?!

Help :D

Re do them all again an lacquer them, then glue the fuckers dwn ;)

Have you used the ones you get in a book of over 250? cant remember the product name

I can't really offer any advice but any chance of getting some pictures up? I would love to see what it looks like.

Is glare not a bitch with a dashboard of colour?

So glue the fuckers down is te part I missed out dang. Lol

Yerh so I lacquered them anyways but it's all coming up :/ maybe I should just redo and heat my dash first

Pics later as they are bigger than a mb -_-

dont know if this is a good idea or not but in my experience i've never been able to anything to stick to my dash(probally all the kfc greasy fingers) but if your covering it in stickers you may as well give it a sand with some light to medium grit paper to make the surface more abrasive and get rid of any grease/dirt embedded in

That is a good idea ^^ and also use a degreaser on it

if you can get room, stickerbomb it, then use a big bit of clingfilm and a hairdrier, make sure you go round the edges, do 2 coverings if you like, just dont put owt sharp on it as you could peirce it, should stop the peeling off for good.

this is ofc on the assumption that the dash is being taken out to do this?

Dash Is in still. I didn't take it out before. Main problem is the air vents that's where my issue is. And cling film hmmm interesting lol

Mmm lush is there like somethig I can spray on that'll make it stocky again like so I can take it off and sand it and re stick it rather than buy again???

I dont get what you mean do you want to save your stickers or your dash board?

cos if your looking to save your dash i have no idea what it would look like without the stickers but if you really want it sticker bombed then sanding the dash could screw it up but would let the stickers stick better and would be covered so it wouldnt matter

How much did one book cover?

i thought about doing the dashboard but went against it as thought it was to much but yours does look good, if u search Rarekwai, Stu New Book on amazon you can get the books for £10 delivered. I've already gone through nearly 3 books! love it though going to have to contemplate doing the dash again now lol.
