Hi all i was sat on ebay a few days ago and was thinking i need another dub for this years season.

Scrolling thru ebay and came across this little polo 6n 1.0, quite tidy and doesn't really need much, runs and drives like brand new, shell has done 64,000 engine has done 51,000 with proof. obviously as you can see it has been played about with abit in some ways good and some not so good.

Good bits as i can see

1.4 16v Engine done 51,000 (still 1.0 on the logbook)

RS Tuning front bumper (wasn't to keen when i got it but its growing on me)

16" seat ibiza cupra wheels

Stainless cat back system

Brand new spax shocks and springs

Nice spoiler

16v interior

Very clean inside, no scuffs or dirt on anything

Runs and drives very well.

Not so good bits

No tax or test, that definatly reflected in the price i paid and i cant see it failing to be honest.

There are some diy jobs that have been done like, fittling the mesh in the bumper, some touch ups and the wheels

There is some surface rust on the polo but i trained as a body repairer/sprayer for 3 years so nothing to me at all.

It still has the standard 1.0 rear drums (these will be changed asap)

Things i have planned for the ol' gal

New drivers door

Sort the rest of the bodywork out

Currently looking for some alloys (something different)

Full custom stainless exhaust from my mate at ppt in louth, (I've had 12 exhausts from these guys now)

I'm wanting to take a trip down to "cool louvres" to get my bonnet stamped.

6n2 rear lights

Some nice headlights

If i were you i'd remove the front bumper and put a 16v one on...also does this have PAS?

Also i like how it's missing the oil breather pipe filter heh...spose it's not completely neccessary but still :p

hopefully will turn out fine. been looking for a 90 dgree pipe for my 6n so i can put me own air filter on. anybody got a link to one that would fit. had a look around but not found out. only a quick look tho

I actually did forget to say i have front and rear 16v bumpers with the front being smoothed off.

I'm sorry i though racing round in a car that barely hits 100 and smashing into other cars then increasing everyone elses insurance quotes is chavy

Barely hits 100? I've had 102 out of a 1.0 and this is a valver so will probably get alot more. Why would he write it off?

You'll probably find that your speedo is reading a bit out if youre seeing over 100 from a 1 litre

You're not wrong dancharge, not sure I understand the point of your post though? Does the OP race around and crash into other cars?

Possibly, but it gets the point across, he said racing round in a car that barely does 100 but a valver is well capable of more than that.

If the OP was actually a chav and raced around then fair enough but he says he has had 12 exhausts from a reputable company, 'chavs' use stupidly big backbox's and he is wanting to sort the car out, fair play to him :)

Not a fan of the rear lights, but nice to see something different, just wants some tlc, spray afew bits make it fresh

I get what your saying about the stupid bodykit and lights and stuff but they are an easy fix, i posted this up on here to get ideas and tips, got a door and some 6n2 rear lights, just finishing up on my smoothed valver front bumper b4 offering it up and then painting it if all is ok.

I'm not a chavvy racer at all, I'm 22 and had some of the meanest cars in my area, ranging from 2 x impreza turbo's, a renault 5 gtt, clio williams, 306 gti6 turbo, civic vti on nitrous, mk2 golf vr6, ect ect, I've never had an accident in my life, cadwell park is 10 miles from me if I'm in the mood £30 and i can get a day there to thrash out anything and push it to its limits.

I only bought the polo on tuesday and I'm probably going to put some of you to shame now as i bought it for £300, its got a good few parts and the engine must be worth that.

fair play mate 300 pound what a bargain and as soon as anyone see a bodykit they think straight away that you are a chav but alot of people may do it as they dont want to be followers and be different
