Sad, sad news :(

My polo is beyond my repair budget scope

So I have the hard choice of breaking her down :(

I really don't want to, but I need to make some cash off it while I can

Might sell the car as a single lump if i get a reasonable offer

Its a light metallic blue colour i think, the car in question is my little avatar picy

Its a AAU 1043cc SPi with a 4 speed gear box

The only bad things on the polo are as follows:

- the backbox tailpipe has rusted off, and all the baffle as fallen out - sounds like a right beast, but is probably useless

- the engine badly needs a headgasket change, i have no idea what shape the engine is in, the pistons could be buggered along with the valves - no idea

- the O/S front spring has snapped at the bottom

- the bootlit has a small rot hole, that will need repairing if you want it

- rear wiper motor pipe attaching bit has snapped off

Otherwise everything is good, seats are good, glass is good, tyres are all good

Other things on sale are:

- K&N filter circle pancake style

- Golf elbow and pipe to fit induction kits to SPi

- Nearside headlight and plastic mouting bit

- Headgasket

- Glass seal for MK2f coupe nearside quarter panel

- GT clock set, it all works and is currently fitted (also have the original clock set)

- Debadged Front Grill

Anything does, just ask :)

Please keep in mind i'm not one everyday

PARTS THAT HAVE GONE:

- Plastic door runners both sides and rear bits

- Plastic bits that stop water getting into the battery tray and ECU tray bit

- Drivers side door (with glass, glass mech, door lock/handle, wing mirror)

- Drivers side front wing

- Fuel Flap

There is a tiny spot of rust on the drivers wing, that i have scraped and hammerited

When you say you want the door? Do you want the complete door?? (mirror, glass, card insert, handle/lock??)

The car is close to bucknell, but if i can get the parts off, i can pop them in the pug

I go to ludlow quite often, so you could pick up from there???

Door will be fine bare or with bits, not too bothered.

I know what you mean mate, but i generally think it would be easier to just replace the lights as a whole??

It wasn't long ago that i had to replace the O/S light because a pheasant smashed the light and backing plastic

Do you need the screws that attach the backing plates the front???
