I counted 5 cops at one point round his car...FIVE!!!!...why?

Then they search the car and find a multi-tool in his tool box which just happens to have a knife, I mean why not? A knife is a tool and it was locked in the boot so not exactly to hand and wasn't on his person.

And then the police wonder why they have little to no respect from the younger generation!

i think it's also safe to assume (going off what was said by the narrator) that they saw him driving the the car and he darted and parked up then tried to run off before the old bill caught up with him. this would explain why there was so many police cars there, if they think some one is running they will swamp the area.

also going off what the lad says and how he says it he has previous, what that was we can only guess at but what ever it is could also explain the large police presence, it could also explain why they actually gave a shit about that 'knife'

All a case that the police needed to find something to do him for rather than lose face , a few yrs back a friend of mine who was working for me as a gardener was pulled over on a small driving technicality while questioning him they decided to have a look in his car and found he was carrying a large grass hook and a number of other sharp bladed instruments that he needed for his job as a result they cautioned him for not keeping them in a container and because his car was not sign written to prove that was his occupation.

But going back to the video the kid does have a point and the over reaction of the police .

I don't think anyone can call that an over reaction unless they know what his previous convictions are for, if he has a marker for vilence or carrying a weapon then its not an over reaction at all. It's all well and good him trying to act all polite and persecuted because the camera's were on him, bit his mask slips a few times. Threatening to fight the police, motioning that he'll tell the courts to suck his balls 'like i normally do'... yep all the behavior of a fine standing member of the community
