And how are we supposed to answer that? Barely any relevant information whatsoever.

C'mon, use your noggin.

Good luck.

Use GoCompare.co.uk. Just type up all the details and say that is has the mods you want.

just dont declare it ?

Don't be stupid.

more than likely nearly double your insurance

Double it? Behave. It would make it go up, but not double

cheers guys i was thinking about not telling them as i might have got away with the wheels but i think the coilovers would be too much of a risk

just dont declare it ?

just dont bother with insurance all together in that case

NO

i'm on AVIVA and pay 500 a year for my MK3 coupe 1.0l

i have 2YNCB

my lowering put my premium up £36, and my 14" BBS ra's another 38 quid

its not huge amounts but enough to wait a bit IMO

ps good luck on the test

Depends on the company tbh. My lad is with Co-Op and they wanted another £200 for 'non standard' alloys even though they were 13" golf raiders!

It's insurance fraud either way and you could end up in a whole world of shit if you are in an accident.

x2

but the police can check your car at the side of the road, if they find anything you'll be walking cos they will take your car and maybe your license.

that's true these days police can just check your insurance details on MID.

mi insurance didnt my for coilovers or my wheels

insurance on my polo E went up by about 140 quid for the full year and I declared every possible mod, from decals to exhaust, coilovers, wheels etc. Just not worth the risk imo.

thats with aviva.

Sometimes it pays to go with companies like Adrian Flux who will sort you a good deal as they understand that someone who goes out and spends money on mods is more likely to want to look after their car than someone who has a bog standard , I phoned up my insurance company to get an idea of how much my increase would be with my mods and they had not a clue when i mentioned coilovers etc they must of plucked a price out the sky and X it by 5 . But it does pay to be honest :|

Probably go up by about a million quid.

Why don't you ask the insurers yourself..?

Really? Only a million. That's cheap, he may as well just declare them then as i was thinking it would be closer to a billion.
