looks pretty smart.

I'm curious though,

Where did you get the "you like this" sticker?

and how easy is it to re-do the interior roofing?

  • Author

sticker was of ebay and the roof lining is pretty simple once you get it out of the car. i started with a section of spray glue the middle and lay the material on top and worked my way out trying to get all the creases out but failed mainly cus i rushed it haha and its only tempary until i get some alcantera :)

loving the 'Jesus had a mullet' sticker :p and the roof lineing looks soo good. sud be a good lil project cant wait to see your ats classics on it :)

hi all, been having abit of problem my dizzy is pretty much fucked, the car kept loosing power because the shaft which the rotor arm attached to was really loose and wobbly. but i have a spare on I'm gonna chuck on so thats sorted.

got a new passenger side rear 6n2 light coming mine has a crack in it.

also going to fetch some 6n2 roof strips and door pins tomorrow 8-)

also undecided about wheels either keep my ats classics and wack them on or sell up get something a little bit bigger?

I would say yes simply because the 6n2 windscreen is square in the corners, where as the 6n has rounded corners as you have proven :)

Nice car btw. Not seen many 1.3's though

also fixed my boot lock so i can actually lock my boot whoooooo

Great feeling isn't it  fixing a lock yourself and having a boot that works! I love using mine now I can actually unlock it.

Where did you get the 6n2 doorpins from?

  • Author

its amazing that i have fixed that my self thought i would end up buying a new lock instead i spent a hour sanding and cleaning all the components put it back together with some copperslip walahhh! it works :D i got the door pins of a guy on here sure you can still get them new from a vw dealer though. someone on here may have the part numbers for you. i may have to invest in a 6n2 windowscreen then :)

I dread to think how much the stealers would want for the 6n2 doorpins

Might see who else is breaking a 6n2 :D

Yea, get a square windscreen and it will look fine :) seen a few people getting it done and they fit perfectly.

how much was a clutch? mines on its way out :(

Think it was 60 quid and was a piece of cake to put in it was from euro car parts :)

now thats cheaper than i thought :p was thinking it wasnt going to be worth getting it on my 300 quid polo.

would you be able to pm me like a guide of how to change it?

I'm not too bad on the electric side of things but not on the mechanical side lol, i wouldnt know where to start.

  • Author

i could, you would have to send me a pm when you get your clutch but it may pay for you to buy a haynes manual if you dont know how to do it

  • Author
