Now has a MK2 1.6 Engine, fully reconned 3 years ago & has done approx 20k since

Converted to manual with a MK1 GTi gearbox

Ported & polished 8v head, 4 into 1 stainless manifold, twin choke Webber carb, K&N filter

Last dyno'd on a rolling road at approx 130bhp

Incredibly torquey engine, can pull off with ease in 3rd

Suspension, Brakes & Wheels

car will come with vw teardrop alloy wheels, all have good tyres on them.

Lowered on coilovers - only a few months old

New wishbones, ball joints recently

Rear drum brake rebuilt 50 miles ago with all new parts

Front brakes rebuilt caliper with bosch pads & X drilled vented discs

All the above and engine conversion was carried out by the guy who owned this car before me. He bulids show winning classic vw's so a lot of money and perfection has been carried out.

Bodywork / Exterior

repainted in 2007 but does show signs of wear

there is some very slight surface rust on inside bottom edges of the doors & bubble on p/s door. nothing major, hardly noticeable just me being honest.

paint is by no means perfect but car is very solid & overall, presentable.

side trims have been removed but will include the trim in the sale of the car

Bosch fogs

Interior

Perfect black year correct interior taken from a GX model - basically a model which used all GTi

interior, trim etc but had a 1.5 carb engine and 5 doors.

gti centre console complete with VDO guages,not wired up though.

Only sign of wear is around the choke

Lovely clean cream headliner

Parcel shelf is complete (no speaker holes) but shows some sign of use

Boot has been lined with black acoustic carpet.

Sony headunit also installed and included with the sale

This car has just gone through the MOT with no welding required yet again for another year!

i have a folder of receipts for this car going back years, with loads of new parts purchased, also a few receipts from the donor golf that the engine came out of.

very nippy as well, keep up with and gti model with ease.

its a 1991 MK3 Genesis Coupe White lowered on 40 mm all round and alloys

A couple of changes, the inner full beam lights are now Amber.

Also standard rear lights ard now on the car (m3 style lights will be included)

Other bits I will include in the sale;

Vr6 rear brake calipers

Gti fronf splitter

All the chrome side trims that run down the side of the car (5 door)

1.8 gti inlet manifold with gti carb.

Just done an oil and filter change on it aswell.
