Right I'm selling my polo a the min and once it is gone will be getting another car, what i am thinking about is what car to get. So i am looking for suggestions, this is my kinda spec i am looking to :p .

Hatch, loon, or coupe. It cannot have soft top as i ride bmx, so need some way to get it in or on the car. I say this i everyone I've asked is saying mx5. No estates either.

Good on insurance, I'm 22 and at uni so funds are tight.

Good on fuel(ish)

Quite nippy

Preferably below 1.6 so i dont have to pay high tax :)

Doesnt have to be VAG, i dont mind other car makes.

I've been thinking of getting another scirocco, but want to get some suggestions.

Misses dont like bmw's for some reason, i really do not know why. I've gone trhough near enough all them cars in my head, but i just dont know what to go for. It wont be a golf as i know they are expensive on insurance, and to be hoinest all i see around is bluddy golfs.

Jettas are very good for transportin bicycles, got 2 in the boot now with plenty of space left over.

I was checking out jetta's not long ago, it seems they ahve jumped up in price though since the last time i looked. Good thing is they are cheaer to insure than a golf, but more room etc.

Unfortunatley the misses dont like them. i have got my last 4 cars without egtting any input from her so i said she can have some(very little) in choosing this one. There are some bmw's etc that i would have but she dont like them so it has come back to bite me in the bum.

i let my missus have input on mine in the past she aint done too bad to be fair good luck! :-D

She knows what i like etc and she like a lot that i like. For some reason she dont like bmw's or merc and cars similar to that, i really dont have a clue why. She drives a ka herself, had a go in it and absolutely hated it haha. I'm just finding it hard to find a car that will tick most the boxes, too many out there. Today is annoy the insurance day with a lot of cars :).

slarlets are a good choice

but i dont think you will get one for 1k

starlet gt or glanza v turbo

just the bogo 1.3 starlets are nippy, around polo gt speeds.

bet you could find one of these in good nick for a grand
