Change of heart now Mr Phily!

Either you've taken to aircooled.. or that G40 splitter is soon to be attached to a Boost powered mk2?

You emptied your inbox yet mate?

but the beetle has no relevance to the under car pic :p

Nor does it the box of VW parts, as VW no longer stock aircooled, heritage do ;)

Gotta be MK2G

I'd say almost definitely a Mk2 G40.

 Indeed, just a Mk2 G40.

I threw some paint up in the air and ran away, it seemed to land in nearly the right places? Add in a dash of new parts...

What do you use to get all the shit off before painting it? I mean i managed to get most crap off my GT lump but as i was brushing paint on i missed some bits that seemed near impossible to get off.

Amazing!

I wanna know what paint you used for the block and arches etc...looks like it gives such a good finish!

Cheers, err brushes of all shapes and sizes, and some patience (days in my case)

Axle, arches etc I had some fun with the stone chip, high temp paint as a primer, then normal paint and high temp laquer on the engine stuff iirc.

One more for the team...

Still a few bits to sort (bonnet gap) but its pretty much there. Fought me every step of the way, was a right pain, but its done bar a few minor bits. I seem to only have pictures of one side, all the ones of the other side came out blurry

PS - 9.5J rear wheels fit under standard wheel arches.
