I have for sale my BMW 316i compact

it has about 6 months MOT and 6 months tax.

The car has a good service history and I have a folder full of receipts for it.

Its just clocked on 108000 miles but will go up as I use it almost daily.

It is a 1996 "N" reg but looks and drives far newer that it actually is!

It has a 1.6 102bhp engine which is good on fuel ( around 40mpg ) and its very nippy as its such a light car.

Its rear wheel drive and very small making it so much fun to drive.

THE GOOD:

Lots of recent new parts ( discs, radiator, water pump, thermostat, aux belt and a few other bits ) a lot of money spent in the last year

good condition alloys with good tyres all with lots of tread left

Lowered all round, now sits nice ( front is not too low as the speed bump I have to tackle for work is MASSIVE! )

Handles great and is such fun to drive

Scorpion alarm and immobiliser, I have two keys, two fobs and two immobiliser chip things.

Fully serviced about 4 months ago and only done about 2000 miles since

I've done over 8000 miles in it and its been perfect

Gearbox is very tight and shifts firmly

Amazing brakes

very well built and very sturdy

Good paintwork and bodywork

Good interior with M-sport seats

Professionally tinted rears ( easily removed if its not for you )

Half decent stereo with usb and other features

Uprated speakers all round as the original ones were getting a bit tired

fitted car mats

NOW THE BAD:

Over winter the front arch developed a bit of surface rust due to the cold as I was unable to garage it, this has been treated and has not got any worse.

the ignition barrel, although only a year old ( annoyingly just out of warranty) requires a gentle touch to start BUT IT ALWAYS STARTS! just to be clear!!

Dont think there is anything else to be honest

Hi mate.

No other issuse the car is very sound. Only problem i had was radiatior leak so had a new one fitted along with other parts while i was at it. Not had a problem with it and trust it completly. It handles long drives perfectly and doesnt over heat.in standing traffic or anything.

Ideally i would keep it but i need something more powerful and the missus wants a asmart car so it has to go :(
