low oil pressure on 6n2

Featured Replies

I'm hoping someone can help me, changed sump on my 6n2 today. and now the oil pressure light is on and the bottom end is knocking soo obviously turned the engine off immediatly there is plenty of oil in it but yet the light is on :S but when i removed the sump i also removed the oil pick up pipe and cleaned it while the sump was off and I'm wondering if i have missed something somewhere but I'm 100% the pick up pipe is on properly with all bolts tight. someone has already said to me i may have put a little too much silicone on the sump when i refitted it and a little bit of it has fell in and the pick up pipe has pulled it up so blocking it off. Going to strip sump off again tomorrow, but for now has anybody any ideas what i might have missed here?

any help would be greatly appreciated :) thanks.
