Hi all

Just got a virus on my other PC from EBay AVG picked it up as Exploit Blackhole. Googled it and it looks like it can get onto your PC from the ad's in Ebay and other sites that use Java. It stopped me using AVG to scan and all internet browsers. I downloaded Malwarebytes from a clean PC, used a USB stick to install it on the infected PC, scanned and it looks like it has got rid.

Its probably cause EBay listing is free this weekend

Think my mrs dads pc has just got it after I went on eBay but I don't use pcs anymore as I'm a mac man so not sure how to clean it....?

I had the same message this morning when I opened an email from ebay, it was one of several from my saved search's. I have done a full screening scan with the AVG and no viruses were found??

I've had a similar pop up virus blocked message to. So i presume mine is fine.

Yeah my dad was browsing eBay and got a Trojan virus. I use firefox & have no issues :)

I use chrome and it blocked it straight away so did AVG did a check last night all is clear :)

Funny this, last 2 days at PC WORLD we had over 20 pcs/laptops come in due to this new virus going around but have no idea where its coming from, tried getting info from tech guys but i got nothing (assholes) so i left them to it but deffo something is going around.
