So i was thinking there's a lot of people who get wide wellers but the fronts end up being too wide for our little polos, or get narrower ones and then the rear wheels look too small, so i was wondering if anyone would be up for swapping (possibly with little bit of cash depending on state of wheels) 2 of their wide front wheels for 2 of my narrower 5.5j wheels, that way we'd both end up with a staggered set of wheels, 5.5j front and 7/8/whatever you have rear :)

Anyone reading this might think it's a stupid idea, but it's just an idea!

Picture taken part way through stripping them to respray, only got them earlier today. Possibly would be painted by the time of swaps if anyone actually shows interest in this, or if anyone actually does show interest and wants me not to go ahead painting so they can do what they personally want with them then so be it :)

I know my dad wanted wider wheels on his Mk 1 Vw caddy pick-up and what he did was he got them banded!! what they do is they cut the wheels down the centre, add a band and weld it back up, this way you have wider wheels, dunno who did it for him or how much it cost but if your interested i will ask him.

yeah still got them, what do you mean when you say interested though mate? i'm not particularly looking to sell, just to swap/part exhange two of them for 2 wider ones :-)
