Hi all

I have a 90k 1.3 engine - code MH - from a Mk2 Polo Coupe S. It's been dry stored since it was removed in 1999. Was working fine when removed. No gearbox just the engine. Not the prettiest due to salt air here on the coast.

May be some use to someone.

Free and you collect from Withernsea, East Yorkshire.

if no one has it go weigh it in cause i got 50 quid for my old aluminum engine block when i had to change mine. Just a thought.

Hi Karl....If you deffo want the engine you can have it. It's not very pretty because the sea air's been at it.

It worked fine when removed 12 years ago but can't give any guarantee it still does. The dizzy has gone today.

Missing dizzy is no problem, as I can hopefully make one good engine out of two, as a piston ring has gone on my MH, and I'm struggling to find a replacement. They're still on back-order from VW, and discontinued most other places.

Hi Karl....The engine is here if you want it. I don't have a hoist so bring muscle if you come for it. I've just turned the crankshaft a touch and it isn't seized either. Let me know either way.
