They gave us a load of pictures of a new concept camper van several years ago,didn't happen.

This thing just looks like a Golf-Plus in drag,following the boring car's flop. Last thing we need is another big heavy boxy hatch bringing nothing new,marketed as retro or not.

The original split campers were anything and everything - from campers to fire engines,kebab vans to ambulances. They were the original Transit.

We have the Transporter. There are basic passenger versions of VW's mid size van. If VW have lost touch with what people want then i guess they're fishing to find it,but they'll have to look further than a Touran with chrome wheel trims and two-tone paint imo.

concept cars are crap but they always get diluted down to a useable, generally better looking production car.

now VW, take it back make it a little longer to fit a third row, shorten the bonnet and whack the engine in the boot and make the face less aggressive then you may be onto something.

i think if there was a grille on the front instead of just a badge thatd look a bit better but imagine the custom body potential

i can just see it black decked to with airide on some mad bentley wheels hids etc and with the space inside i imagine dvd ps3 xbox etc
