hi guys i need new front tyres for my 6n2, at the moment i have 185/55/14 on and with it being lowered it scrubs quite horrendously, i was thinking 175/45/14 but i cant find anywhere that sells them ! I know you can get them , I've seen them and a few people on e38 have managed to get hold of them but in that size i cant find them, does anyone know where to get them from any help much appreciated :-D

you sure they werent 175/50s or 195/45s maybe. cant say I've ever seen 175/45s in 14"

You can't get a 175/45 tyre in any diameter.

i know you could get them, i knew someone who had some fitted, but that garage closed down ad now i cant find anywhere, what do you guys think will be best on a 6j 14" wheel on a 6n2 its lowered about 100mm I'm thinking a 195/45/14 will be to wide do you guys think a 175/50/14 will be o.k ?

I spoke to my mate today who runs a tyre shop I used to help out at, apparantley they were available from a few manufacturers but are rare as rocking shit now. He also had a 175/45 15 tyre on the shelf, never knew they made that size.
