Howdy all just thought id put a post u to say hello as I'm new on here. I dont currently have a polo but i am getting one when the person I'm buying it off receives her new car from a dealer ( so very soon ). I dont really know much about polo's but have heard they are very good and reliable. I'm getting a mk4 ( i think ) R reg polo 1.4 8v with 89k on the clock, its a CL so its got electric windows/mirrors etc. Its silver, only down side to it is that it is a 5 door but i cant refuse the offer I'm getting on it!! It has full VW service history + all MOT's done at VW, 11months MOT 6months Tax all for the low price of £450, what do you think??

Also i dont really know what to do in the form of modifying it as i have seen pictures of so many different polos and seem to like most of the mods i see on them, so any ideas on what to do would be much appreciated, especially on wheels as there is far to many to pick from !

Welcome :) full service history, decent mileage sounds like you got a good deal.

Get some coilovers and get it lowered this is the mod that will change the car the most.

As for wheels just have a look round for inspiration, keep an eye on the for sale section :)

cheers buddy, yeah il agree with that when i fitted coilovers to my corsa it made so much difference both to the look and to the drive.. so much better!
