Ok my golf failed its MOT and needed quite alot of work doing, which has killed my love for it plus I just bought myself a polo so no need for it anymore.

It needed new wheel bearings, new internals in the rear brake, exhaust welded, rear lights rewiring, new front coil spring (helper spring), front lights were wobbly and a kinked rear break line.

Before all this it had fuling problems which are now fixed and it's running lovely.

All of these things have been replaced or fixed and now the car has 12 months mot.

It was standard when I bought it and the body work is really good but has a scratch that has been badly resprayed but it's small, about 2 inches long.

So quick speck:

104,000 miles

Alpine white

new cambelt at 103,000ish

Small bumpers

Weber carb (manual choke)

Jetta front

all tyres have good tread, has had 2 new front ones recently

Jom coilovers

Lowering front top caps

4 door (practicle

also have some spares such as the original 4 light grill and a spare exhaust, amoungst some other bits and bobs i'll chuck in.

I'm looking for £1050 but am open to sensible offers.

I also have some 13in starmags (which do look rude) which have tires but are shagged, but the wheels are mint, or some audi pepper pots with no tires if anyone is interested.

At the mo I'm trying to sell my mk2 so I can buy another (I'm a mk2 whore), but I'd swap it for this if it came with the starmags. I drive a hard bargain me!

If I sold mine would I be close to being able to buy this with the starmags? Saying that though you are a long way away and a train wouldn't be particuarly cheap

I'm in Lincoln mate. I'd be lookin to spend around £800, but I wouldn't want any spares (I have loads off my donor) and I wouldn't need the steels if its drivable on starmags lol. I guess this isn't taxed though?

nah sorry bud, thats a bit less than i was after without the mags but it does have tax bout 4-5 months and 12 months mot
