For sale, my mk2 polo! 1.3 GT engine..

Slight running difficulty, seems to run fine for a bit then starts to stall and loose power in lower gears. bad points are noted in the pics.. rusty hole on front left side under bumper due to a rough winter!

Check breather to fuel tank is clear. Sounds like a fuel tank vacume problem i encountered some years ago.

Especially if you have locking fuel cap. Borrow or try one of those pikey orange flapped push fit tempory

fuel tank caps.

Problem we had on mk2 was the breather pipe that hangs down near filler neck of tank was full of mud

causing tank to vacume and hold back the fuel.

Well hopefully mate am gonna check that breather pipe to the tank, hopefully that will sort it if it clogged up with dirt. I will let you no how it goes

checked the fuel breather pipe and it seems to be ok, could be a problem with the air flow meter.. willing to drop price!! needs to go asap

got a golf gti airflow meter comin for this soon!! its good mod cos its a bigger bore so the air intake is increased making the car quicker!
