I've heard different things..some say ill need to roll the arches some say i dont..getting confused!

mines lowered 60mm all round too.

also does anyone have any pics of said sized wheels on a mk3?

Not without poking a lot. 165/55 tyres and rolled arches and you'll probably get away with it!

My poke was bad, but now my arches have been rolled and flared there not to bad.. Look at my progress thread

Getting the right offset 8s is fine.

Cant remember what mine are but they sit fine with camber shims and axel spacers.

ahh yeah they seem to sit nice! man I'm hell confused. you needed any arch work done for those to fit?

You need to take into account offsets my man.

The lower the offset, the further out the wheel will sit in the arch.

Those wheels on the red car just posted have a much higher offset than the ET3 wheels i posted and therefore sit much further into the arch.
