Today i recieved a parking ticket from the council there is a few things i want to know.

Is there a time limit that they have to give before issueing the ticket I'm sure its 5-6 minutes?

If they have wrote the ticket and put the ticket on my car while i was reversing is that allowed?

Calling me a "idiot" I'm sure is not allowed lol?

Also giving me a ticket on uncapped double yellow lines?

They have not fiilled in "Tax Disc No" as they filled the ticket from a distance is this allowed?

if u were reversing then how can they give you a parking ticket, u wernt parked :S lol

random, but aparantly if u have 2 or 3 (1 of them) tidkets already on your car then they cant issue more. if u can get someone to do u a few fake ones you are sorted :p

They must take pictures now for evidence! No pictures ... No evidence. You can turn around and say that you never received a ticket and they have no proof. You are right they can not just stick a ticket on your car they must wait 5 minutes!

If you are waiting on some one then they can not stick a ticket on your car and if they do drive away before they snap a pick of it on your window =)

A friend at work says that he has an unopened ticket in his car that when ever he parks on double yellow lines he sticks it on his window.... not sure how true this is but i can see it working! just one small problem you will need to pay the premium price for the one that you haven't opened!

Challenge any parking ticket as it costs them at least £60 to investigate the claim and you still have the 14 days to pay at the reduced rate after they have made their decission

I'm pretty sure they cant put a ticket on your car if you're reversing!

You could also put in a complaint about him/her calling you a idiot as well.

Personally, if what you're saying did happen, i would definitely contest it.
