Do any of the specialist insurers offer fully comp for 19 year olds?

Featured Replies

Hey, insurance is due this month,

after reading most websites for specialist insurers, none of them seem to want to offer fully comp to drivers unless they are 21, so at 19 id have to be TPF+T,

Id rather be fully comp, but 'normal' insurers are shit for lots of mods and no good for performance ones (elephant wanted £22 extra a month for an induction kit!)

So does anyone know any that will cover fully comp, 19 years old, 2 years ncb.

I'm tempted to just get tpf+t anyway, because the cost of my excess + amount a claim would put my insurance up, is it even worth claiming these days?

any advice appreciated, I'm stressing already and i havnt even started ringing round

mm about 1600, pretty bad postcode, work in motor trade, 12000miles, 100hp limit & whatever cosmetic. Doubt I'd get as much flexibility with any others. Knott or flux couldn't get below 2400!

take it your with brentacre then I've just done my insurance with them last month 1 years no claims, 22yo, 9 points £1342 for tpf&t 140 bhp limit, engine conversion, ss exhaust system, bike carbs etc and any cosmetic changes they are really good tbh i got a few other companies come close though but these are by far the best in my opinion especially as you dont have to pay 25 odd quid every time you ring them to change something so you can keep modding and get it legal straight away rather than waiting for payday or something.

yeah paid my deposit with brentacre, 19, 2 years ncb, mechanic in motor trade (oh no!) single, not the best of postcodes, 12k a year, 100hp limit and whatever else i wanna do can be done, think was about £1500 which isnt bad at all!

thats with highway, flux and i think chris knott both quoted with highway too and it was nowhere near that and was only for cosmetics!

just spent about an hour putting together a massive list of mods to send to them haha :D
