So where were we , well the Golf has long gone removed the alloys and crosshair headlights and sold it for twice as much as i paid for it .

Father in law gave me his Nissan van as it had failed the MOT again on welding , no bother ill have that boshed out sharpish , feck me 15 patches and 2 cross member reconstructions ,a bottle of Gas and a roll of wire later sorted .

So Back to the Polo , as some of you know i had some rather unpleasant neighbours for a while so the polo was left out the front whilst we got that sorted , put on the in laws drive whilst they we removed and was tugged back round mine recharged the battery and fired first time at which point my little girl announced that the car was having a wee. Petrol pissing everywhere from a perished fuel pipe near the fuel pump , got that sorted quick hoon over to the barn and set about getting back to it .

Was never really quite finished after the AEE conversion but ran well enough and to be honest after the last 6 months i have forgotten what needs finishing , so up in the air for a good looking over.

Well better than i remembered apart from the loose driveshaft bolts again new ones arriving shortly , gear linkage needed a tweak , welded in a new stud for the washer bottle , reconnected the washers and renewed a couple of the hoses . Got to use me new high lift jack

Might bosh it in for a MOT as id like to use it for Polo show and Action this year but its handy that i know have the Van to use as well so I'm not under the pressure to have it working all the time .

Will come off the road for the winter and hopefully will finally be able to get round to sort the bodywork out and start the search for Power
