I think I'll break it at the start haha

So glad yours is back on the road though man! Finally! Damn pikeys

Get some slicks ! And yes been a long time coming I've missed it .

what year is this car Mark if its pre 93 you dont need a cat anyway

Its a 92 Peter Lambda boss was goosed on the decat hence the Cat going back on .

I have slicks, but presently no car to put them on, as I'm just struggling for time on the Mark3 :-(. Otherwise I'd have been down for some strip action.

How do you set your AFM up Mark? 86C did mine using a multimeter, as apparently theres a write-up somewhere on a BMW forum about doing it that way, and it gives good results. Mines been spot on since it was fitted.

put them on the mk2 then  .

I set it up by using said guide ;) , although I'm going to check it all again as i cant believe that running that cleanly is correct , i have a gas analsyer as well .

I had me little helper with me the other day as well , she likes hitting things with spanners

Whilst the new Ashley system on the Mark2 sounds nice, and the addition of the 8P makes it appear nippier, I doubt either have helped double or even treble the horsepower enough to warrant slicks. a 90bhp GT is barely acceptable anyway, but they were cheap .

You're lucky enough to have a gas analyser too. Ours was an ebay bargain as it didnt conform to new MOT regs.

Otherwise got the car taxed yesterday and got a few miles under its belt last night , id forgotten how much fun it is to drive , despite the slightly wooden brakes and crashy suspension  . Its amazingly tractable with the AEE and pulls so well just need to do a liitle more work on the set up , wideband is much needed i think , still running lean .

£130 off ebay, MDG haha, just file the middle out of the "B" then!

Awesome mark!

I'm considering buying another wide band to overlay into people's cars, you could borrow it!

Pulley looks well.

Wonder how yours will be with the cam

Rapid! Yours too should be a good watch, both the same engine pretty much but one EFI and one carburation!

Might take you up on that , where would you mount it though?

yes will be interesting , going to see what else i can strip out of it just in case

Pulley is in the post by the way mark

Decent tyres help massively, as does soft supension.

Also, get a nice cold air feed on there, that helped mine a bit after it was suffering from heat soak!

Headlight out  , i have the diesel inlet pipe as well .

Pulley is in the post by the way mark

Thanks dude , did you wrap it well !

Got it running well then yet? Pulley turned up?

No not yet , but i might need them yet , i found some higher rated ones that are the same size as the Gt ones , i never want to see another bosch flow chart there are hundreds of them  .

Gt ones are 155 cc , AEE picos are 170cc and these are 200cc which are probably going to be too much , but they were local cheap and brand new . AFH picos are 200cc so well you know :p
