Turns out when you reverse you dont need to look in the mirror in a fully lit petrol station!

G40 brake setup on the way.

Lol there are some tools around. Sure it was you not being able to handle the GT powahh?

booo thats lame :(

No i was parked up looking for my wallet at the petrol station, a lad in daddys merc reversed without looking.

Worst bit was the fact that when he got out, he asked 'whats happened here?'

What a complete bellend.

Hope you get it seen to soon bud!

Finally getting somewhere with my claim, other insurer has admitted fault and should have my cheque in January.

Dont know the full extent of the damage but i think its just the bit under the front lights + grill and the panel in which the bonnet catch is on has bent abit.

Good job i still have my donor car incase i need parts :)

Started repairing my car yesterday by sorting the lights out which resulted in a pic i quite like for some reason :)

Light pattern before....

Worst thing is the light on left is the right one and vice versa....

Car will be repaired soon and for sale :) Turns out its just a quick swap of the front panel, so will just take it off my donor car and have it sprayed.

I gotta change mine to the front pannle ment to be okay to change I'm finding it hard to get hold of one :-/ what bulbs you got? Or is it a hid kit?

They are 8k HID's mate :)

Thats a real shitter, had a similar accident a few weeks back and bought myself a donor car to sort things out. Front panel is easy to change, couple of spot welds on the wing rail and a few more on the bottom right at the front. Days work on and off.

Yeah i cant wait to get it sorted, sadly i think the polo will be going though.

Its a dirty derv next for me....

  • Author

Sorry for the boring updates and lack of pics but my front ends still broken

MAY be tempted to keep the polo, went for a big drive out to Tan Hill, europes highest pub or something and it did so well :)

Just getting abit bored because i cant think of what to do to it next?

If anyone wants to convince me to stay a Polo'er feel free :)

Well all I can say is that I've just bought a mk3, and I have never driven a more fun car. You may have done everything you can do to to your polo, but I'm sure there's some more you can do to it to keep you interested!

I don't think there's another car out there that can be so practical yet so retro at the same time!

I enjoy modifying which is annoying me with this car because I have ran out of ideas apart from wheels. If I keep it wheels would be top priority but apart from that I can't think of anything !

Removing the front pannle is fricking long!!! I stoped half way through how you getting on?
