Arches not wide enough to cover wellers..any help?

Featured Replies

I just bought some 13" 8J Wellers and they for a beaut on the back but on the front I've had to put spacers so they clear the calipers but they are too wide by over an inch or so

May swap two of the 8J's for some 7J's - and put them on the front

OR

Try and find a wide arch kit but cant find any anywhere :-/

Any suggestions appreciated :) cheers guys

heres some pix of her so far

Think 7j's will look better, cos it'll look funny with the back wheels so far in if you manage to cover the fronts up. They will look sick though once its slammed.

that rocco loks sick on wellors :)

Oww and Def needs slamming.... Just need to find the money for some decent coil overs now lol

Cheers man.... A few dont appreciate the Scirocco but i love mine - havnt seen another one since I've owned her which is actually pretty cool :)

She is real tidy with twin carb and slip diff .... Got some plans for her once the money comes in :D

For a rocco 7's front and 8 back. The rear axle is shorter than the front so 8's work perfect. Also good look finding a ide arch kit for a rocco. Well you can get them but they cost ALOT.

Also get on scirocco register if your not already.

Some more pix for you guys

I'm on my second, they are just awesoe cars. I've got a 91 scala had a gt before but money was tight. Once you get the front wheels and bit lower it will look mean. Also single lamp conversion makes it look a lot meaner when lowered.

Bit of self whoring :)

Cheers man - needs alot of work still but she will look MEAN with the ideas I've got kicking around in my head :D

They are becoming more anted now, and recently the prices have gone up quite a bit. They are quick cars, mines running about 130 bhp and feels nippy for what it is.

Yeah man mines def not slow and with the slip diff handles SOOO good round corners!!!

Do any other arches fit the scirocco??? like mk2 golfs??

The conversion for a single light on the front as well.... how would i go about doing that???

Arches wise the is dekitting and doing metal work, or buying one of the rare kits that came with some, but thn for some you are looking for a good few grand, then fitting. The conversion i haven't done myself, but its a mk2 golf grill trimmed down. If you go on to the scirocco register you will be able to find out how it is done bud.

Nice one mate :) I've found a few routes i could take

One: Taking off the body kit and seeing if theres any flare underneath to work on for doing the metal work

Two: Seen some universal arches that bolt on which i could try and blend them into the body work some how... but unsure as its the hard rubber body kit thats on it so unsure what to use

I've sent a e-mail to get registered so just have to see what they say

And i'll look at mk2 golf grills tonight :D

You can pick up universal Jdm fiberglass arches from Retro rides. I dont think they would look good on the rocco though, but if you think you do then go for it bud. De-kitting can reveal some naties. As the arches are bonded to the metal if you have any rot it will just pull them apart, so be aware when doing it as you might need new wings or something .
