Just wondered whether anyone knew of a good source for fibreglass body panels for a mk3 (6n/6n2) polo?

I've been doing some extensive searches but have failed to come up with any suppliers.

I'm particularly interested in wings, bonnet & tailgate, and even two doors (3 door model).

Search for fibreglass panels in the search,and also google with a view to it finding some here. The subject has been covered and they were available for the MK2 and MK2F, so it may still be here in the archives somewhere.

Note that the MK2F is commonly called a MK3 on here,so try not to get prematurely exited if you find 'MK3' panels until you know they're 6n ones!

Try absmotorsport. I seen a few rare bits on there so maybe hes got something? I've had loads of rare mini bits from him and all have bern top quality formed and sealed.

Unfortunately I still haven't been able to find the bits I'm looking for, even wings, which I think is a bit of a surprise. If I was looking for Golf panels I wouldn't have any issues and could even chose if I want carbon fibre!

But hey, will keep searching, but I have also approached a company about making moulds. I'm unsure whether this will be economically viable, but it will be interesting to see what the costs will be.

I have finally found the complete set for those interested! :-D

Fibreglass bonnet, wings (pair), doors (pair) and tailgate for Polo 6n are available here http://shop.ebay.de/timelesscardesign2011/...om=&_ipg=25 - looked like they've updated their ebay profile. Also seems that they have 5 sets of each part/set available, so some parts might be there one day and gone the next, only to reappear later.

Next on the list is a fibreglass roof panel. Have looked at http://www.performance-trim.com but they only seems to do panels for Golf's. Anyone else come across roof panel's for Polo 6n?
