The truth.

French car's are:

Not terribly nice looking

Rubbishly made

Awfully built

Common as muck

Faster than the average polo.

x2 to that

a 106 GTI or saxo VTS would woop anything under a g40 into next week

So your trying to say that a 75bhp mk3 polo would be quicker than a 123bhp 106 because of power to weight? I'd be surprised if the pug even weights much more than the polo, never mind so much to make up for a 50bhp gap in power

saxos are actually a fair bit heavier than a polo mine with all my interior and a sub in was 30kg lighter than my other mates (not the guy with the GTI) his is fully stripped and two recaro pole positions in. I think its pretty funny how everyone is acting like i said mine is fast than a gti i said it loses about a car length to 60 past 60 it pulls away at a good rate! but surely thats obvious? i also love the heroes who are just jumping on the band wagon and not even reading the thread.

i did read the thread and you were saying that they ain't that fast and then you started comparing your gt to one so i did the same. they weigh what? about 200kg more? which although noticeable isn't going to make up for a 50 brake difference

they may not be 'that' fast, but they are certainly a lot faster than a mk3 GT, you do realise that they do 60 in a little over 7 seconds? that's like 3 seconds quicker than a GT :?

i'd say your mate needs to learn how to drive tbh.
