Bit down

Featured Replies

Well about 3 weeks ago i came home to an empty house where my wife and kids one lived. There was a letter from the wife telling me that 2 years ago when my daughter was born i didnt help her enough and since that day she hasnt loved me anymore. No other man involed or anything she needs to be with her mum and dad she said even though we have been married for 5 years. All i have to look forward to of a night now is going home to an empty house. Oh she did leave me the cat though, which i though was nice !

Anyone on here been through this sort of thing? This one day at a time thing is pretty crap really

hope you're alright mate, things will get better

I've moved this to the correct section

but OMG i hope you are ok mate, unfortunately i am not blessed with children as of yet, though in my late 20s, so i cant imagine the pain that you are feeling, to have something like this happen to you must be devastating

i can only pray for you and hope that you can reconcile any problems your wife may have and that you get you family back

That's a proper shitter, sorry to hear that pal.

Although, no offence here, wouldn't you be better posting such a thread on some sort of support forum instead of a car one??

thanks guys, your right i dont really know any of you on here but i knew that people would be supportive

a little bit of moral support is better than none:)

What i'd be saying is why didn't she tell you this face to face when it was all happening?

You never know dude, her leaving you and being away from you could actualy be a good thing.

She will start to remember the good things in life, miss you ect, so dont be serprised if you get back together and have an even better relationship.

Try to get some space, take a trip to see an old friend or something, a change in environment is always refreshing in times like these and may help to give you a new outlook.

I really feel for you mate, things like this can make you feel like the worlds collapsing.

Come see some of us lot in the polos.

Chin up and that tho, as people say mate, heart going out to you.

Things happen for a reason and maybe the pan was too hot and boiled over, maybe its time to turn the heat down, let things simmer and try again,

give her time and space. tell me to do one here if you like but does she have any issues, health problems which may have induced this at all? Have you managed to contqct her to say that you hope shes safe and well etc?

Let her no you miss her but dont smother her.

she'll come round.

were here for you buddy

Chin up mate, hope its nothing permanent. I hope that all you need is time apart, absence makes the heart grow fonder. And as you said, youve got the cat!

thanks for all the replies guys, great support and a lot of nice messages :)

I am based in newton le willows, near to warrington

i went through a pretty shitty time around a year ago now.

Life has to go on mate, it throws you challenges you have to take on the chin. End of day its happened and there probably isnt alot you can do about it. I personally dont like people feeling sorry for me. I'm not the person that dwells on stuff or lets it get to me.

A year on now my life's better. Things are looking up and i'm happy again.

Look to the future is all i can say
