Not really mate, done a few bits and bobs but decided not to even try and get this on the road this year cause it was always gonna be a rush. So concentrating on sorting the daily out first, got most of the stuff to sort that out now tho so can hopefully get cracking back on with the polo again soon

:tear:

Whats your current daily project then? I can never seem to keep up with you and your crazy on-goings

Mr McLovin. (Sorry but I don't know your real name. Unless it is McLovin.) I haven't properly been on club polo for 6 or 7 years and I thought I'd take a look at the build threads to catch up on where the polo scene is just now.

Firstly, this has been a very interesting build and I tip my hat to you for what you've achieved so far!

Secondly, after reading 53 pages only to discover the build isn't completed is like reading a brilliant book only to discover the last page is missing. Or watching a great film only to discover the ending doesn't play because the other half has scratched the disc.

I'm gutted because it's been a brilliant thread!

Have you been able to work out the compression ratio? Have you finally decided where you're mounting the charger? Have you tried on your red wheels yet to see how they look?

Regards,

Scott.

Hi Scott. Sorry but the car still isn't built, life, work and other cars have gotten in the way (as always seems to be the way). I have recently dragged this out from the dusty corner of my workshop and started work on it again. It should be back on the road again shortly with the low comp lump running NA to run it in, unless I've made some school boy error in working shit out and it just chucks a rod out the block or something lol.

Anyway there should be some proper updates in the next couple of months

I'm Guy btw :-)

how you planning on strengthening the drivers side, where you have welded in the mount for the 16v engine mount
