And the blurred picture is due to guy and mitchs greasy hands.......

Dude, i literallyu cant wait until next year when we can have a rematch, that day was so much fun!

Haha mate can't wait till spring fest, was so much fun going head to head with you although its a bit addictive and I'm now trying to think of ways to shave off fractions of a second

movember is going to be very difficult for me, the misses is refusing to have sexual relations with me until I have a shave. I've already got some growth in preparation so its gonna be like 6ish weeks of red-tube :-(

Higgo fuck knows what's going on with my gearing, I know the tyres will knock it out some but i'm well into 4th before crossing the line at around 85mph... I'm wondering if I may of been wrong about this being an 8p box, sure I remember swing it stamped on the box :?

 @ the chop

LOL, higgo the run analyzer.

Don't forget that higgo is traveling at a faster speed guy, plus you've got different sized tyres, you just can't compare it!

Your laugh in that vid is epic Guy

My vid of salty's run is on a thread in photo gallery (think its the guy with the mk8's thread)

Aaaah.....HAHAHAHAH.......HAHAHAHAH......HAHA!

Dude, I'm already on saving some 10ths, i just want a sub 16 second run! buuuuuut, i also want it to be as close as that again, was far too much fun!

And i admire your commitment to the cause! Maybe we should start a movember thread, mainly cause i know you wanna see my last years epic effort

Alex get the thread started! I've got a full on beard atm gotta wait till I've had my hair cut on Friday before shaping it into a masterpiece cause I don't want my hairdresser to take the piss out of it

Ben you tit, seriously who sends a recorded delivery by a joke name?

What tires (size and manufacturer) are you using and where did you get them from? On the techs I mean.

Thanks.

Nankang (is that how its spelt?) And they are 165/55' mate. I got them from local tyre fitters but the last one I replaced was a right pain in the arse to find as most of the places just stocked general budget tyres rather than a specific make but I wanted the same make all round. In place I eventually got it from had to phone round a couple of suppliers to find it and then get it delivered to them. Buying them online would be easier an cheaper tbh especially if you wanted a full set

wankangs... Disgusting

Don't know why everyone says that, they're good for a budget tyre, proved that on the strip 8-)

Fine for ~ 100bhp

power makes no odds.

Its when you come to a corner that you hit a problem. Bush/lampost/kerb/roundabout/pedestrian shape problems normally.

You used them before?

Sounds like a professional excuse to me

They may not be the best performing tyre but that won't be a problem if you've taken a little bit of time to get accustomed to how a car drives rather than just jumping in it and blasting off towards the nearest corner at warp factor 9

Exacamondo, as usual big man.

I had nankangs and i drive slowly to me they were just as good as any other tyre

Love the car :-)

If have part worn jinyu's? I think, they make nankangs feel like contis'.

I'm pretty sure they are non bonded, I have all the rubber ect to fit them to mine but if you want them you can have them mate, its just another job i'll never get round to anyway. Think I've got the main door glass too

Never had wankangs, but I've currently got worse... lol

Lets say, i honestly dont like to drive in the wet. And its not asif i push the breadvan, i drive quite slow compared to the coupe and it still trys to do things it shouldn't. Like going sideways and all 4 wheels locking up with hardly any pressure on the brakes

I wont carry on with the argument though, all depends on driving style.

What have you done to your breadvan like? Mine is fine in the wet, only had the front end go light once.

Nothing, they are just disgusting tyres.

I'll have the toyos on soon though, they can handle 100bhp plenty fine. so a measly 55bhp should be reet

I'm pretty sure I've got 1 Toyo & 1 BF Goodrich on the back and two ditchfinders on the front . Once I get some money I'll probably get a full set of matching tyres of a decent brand.

Contis, Toyos or Yokos... the shizz
