It's held up well, pretty sure it was 2mm plate I used and I doubled it up, its been on about 8 months and when I swapped the engine it had just warn through the first plate at its lowest point so I just wacked another layer on there while I had it off.

Harris I am fairly worried about blowing the welded on the intake manifold, I've heard this is a fair common issues on civics?
