Toby satin isn't a colour its a finish the colour of the paint is totally irrelevant. If you take the satin finish away from your car its just blue just like if you took the satin away from my mk3 it was just black. If satin was played out in 07 then what would you call it two years later when you jumped on the bandwagon?

I was thinking about a charger for mine instead of turbo, not sure how much they cost though and such, my conversion from NA to boosted would happen over a weekend hahahah

M45's used to pop up for £100 with only delivery miles on them all the time a couple of years back, that's no longer the case tho thanks to BMW, but yeah 200 should see a good one on eBay these days. I guess a turbo would be the most straight forward to fit as the sc's need brackets, pulleys and belts sorting

I was thinking of fucking off the early style engine mount and fitting a 6n style one to the inner wing/chassis leg, and then running a modified later small block alternator bracket but its just that atm, thinking. Not looking too deeply into all that until the cars off the road and I can pull it apart and start measuring shit up

Chop off whole engine mount set up from 6n. Offer it up to mk2 while the engine is still held in with early mount. Chop up 6n mount till it fits where it needs to to mount the engine exactly how it is with the early mount. Weld it in place, job done

Little update, finally got the large cock and balls off my bonnet, took a fair amount of t-cut and elbow grease mind

Every time I clean the car it acts like a fucking magnet for bird shit. They never do it when its dirty but as soon as I clean it, boom!

Continued the refurb on the cups, no shiny shiny yet just getting the kurb rash off them. Might invest in a polishing kit off eBay to bling them up
