What details Pete?

Been collecting shit for this over the last month or so and finally sorted it out today, here's a pic of some of the stuff I have so far...

Hopefully picking up some 250cc injectors and a helix clutch later in the week, and gonna start work on my partly smoothed boot in a min as that and my spare bonnet may be being painted at the weekend. Con rods are away with a legend awaiting a rebushed (not sure if you want me to out you publicly invade of people pm'ing you or not?)

Can't make any proper progress on this as the car isn't here atm, should be in the next couple of weeks and I can start mocking stuff up and pulling the engine out to start the rebuild 8-)

I have an ST intercooler to go in mine. It sits in front of the rad and the end tanks need replacing (too long) with smaller ally ones

Ha cheers mate 8-)

It's a pace ic, I would of preferred one like your looking to get but this came up at a decent price, its gonna mean lowering the rad a bit and have the ic pipes coming over it, but this is how it was in the mk2f it came from so I should be able to make it fit with some chopping and changing.

ah canny wait to see this setup in your mk2 guy. I imagine she will be a slight animal.

BEASSSSST! I've got use to seeing all the pics before they pop up on here with Nick, you starting that now

GET THAT LOOM WRAPPED!!!!!

I'm gonna be swapping to 6n2 coil pack and crank sensor so I may need to change some plugs and i'll no doubt have to adjust the length of some of the wires to suit my car so no point wrapping it yet. Can you remember what tps the itb's had on? Sure I remember you saying it was off a vauxhall?

Ye its a C20XE one dude.... Sure it was a bosch one?

Good work guy, pitty it wont be at action though :-(

TPS part number boss, sure its the same as the V6 item....

Can you not use the OE TPS sensor? Saying that what throttle body you using?

I think given the omex is set for a XE you'll have issues anyway guy, if you plan to run stock map... xe isent turbo'd. another reason i never ran it, cba to sort a proper map for a turbo setup. #

As rofl sais i'd just use all stock sensors, if you are swopping plugs anyway.....

Stock tb has no manual idle adjustment which it would need with the omex and obviously has no boost return facilitates, ideally I would like to use a G60 one as it already has both of these and I've found a guide for fitting TPS to one which seems simple enough

Ben I'm gonna have to get another base map for it anyway as I will be using a 60-2 trigger wheel and 6n2 coil pack instead of the Ford EDIS stuff and 32-1 trigger wheel

boost return is gay...... dumpvalve, screamer pipe that nice person!

More pieces of the puzzle

250cc/min Ford motor sport injectors

IMAG1782.jpg

Helix organic clutch

IMAG1783.jpg

nice i got some g60 green injectors last week £36 quid bargain same 250cc flow rate

I'm going to struggle with a clutch i need to get ideally a helix one but this syncro box of mine uses the clutch where the pressure plate bolts to the crank and the flywheel then bolts over the top and the release bearing is the other side of the gbox :(

Does the golf fly have the same bolt spacing and pattern as the polo? If so your laughing surely? Just bolt the golf fly up and use the golf clutch assembly

I like it, good to see someone actually doing some work!

Unfortunately not doing any work due to the polo not being here, just parts collecting atm. Itching to get to work on it but just gotta wait for the other sierra to move from the garden before I can bring it home

It's going to my mates in the next week, wasn't much point in moving it now cause last weekend and hopefully this one are being spent on the other polo. Still got a couple of things I need to pick up for this anyway before I can even think about pulling the engine out.

Still need a 6n 16v drivers side engine mount so I can weld the mount for it in place and 6n alt bracket so I can start mocking up the charger mounting position
