Mclovins Mk2 Coupe S 1.6 16v Eaton Charged (in The Making)

Featured Replies

Won't be starting mine untill i find somewhere to fucking build it!

I know they've set the mark for small block 8v's, but the G40 engine is structurally designed to take forced induction, the HK me and eric are using certainly isn't, nor the AFH, that's what i'm getting at.

Granted pete's now runs forged rods etc, but there's a lot of people running high spec G40 engines, and this is something slightly different to me, personal opinion as always.

I want spring fest boost... hmm lol

I'm wanting mine all complete not just engine by christmas and it will be the money side on whether that happens or not, not the work side because as soon as i can stand and walk again I'm back on it like a biotch so annoyed I've lost out on 8 weeks of possible car work so far i want the rear diff all in properly by end of this month just need to finish cutting out the floor first

the thing that high spec G's have with builds like this is that they're both unpredictable and tempermental. mine would be better as a weekend car but due to financial restraints that just isnt possible :(

Its all about unpredictable cars

hahahahahahaha someone once came into our work with a claw hammer in his toolbox - took so much abuse he left - what the hell are you doing with that Pete? PMSL

thats where the claw hammers kept just randomly on that bench lol as theres a vice next to it just out of the photo

where its always been and it means we all know where it is just incase something needs breaking ;)

their for wood workers! - get a good mahooosive ball peen hammer!

we have ball pein hammers too that claw hammer is mainly used for straightening out metal storage pans and knocking nails back into pallets

thank god for that hahahaha

its right next to the adjustable spanner for all the nuts and bolts and the tape measure for all the accurate measuring ;p
