i wasnt going to let that piece of metal defeat me! I'm still totally bamboozled as to why that was held in with more that 40 spot welds :-s completely unnecessary! top marks go to Giorgio for the evenings entertainment!

looks good is that off the boot of the golf then

and Guy I'm getting to a point soon where its money that will be stopping me not time which I'm sure you have had your fair share off but over crimbo il be doing the front frame and hopefully rebuilding the engine then i can start getting it in the bay and the new mounts mocked up

then its just a case of getting everything finished and the engine running :)

I'm aiming on the road by March ideally now and thats road worthy not show worthy yet ;)

when do you think yours will be road worthy

Rear seat base..... Goes where the floor goes up and over the fuel tank on the back seat area ;)

And by the 6 degrees of seperation, I have owned the Golf that I think that seat base came from (if it was the one in Gio's unit).

Therefore I have contributed to this build and demand a stake in it, allowing me to drive completed vehicle .

Or have a rear seat passenger ride ;)

If it don't blow up you can take it down the strip at action

Yeah it was at G-mans unit, think it was Windsor blue, it was an 8v big bumper and had the dial surround painted silver

Do you know what your compression ratio will be yet?

Modified G60 rods are a very good idea for cheap boost, they will definitely be up to the job.

Keeping my eye on cheap G60 engines/rods on eBay now.

No idea mate, still waiting for the head and block to come back from the machine shop

Is the skimming etc not something you could have done guy? working in a workshop etc...

  • Author

Yeah I could do it here, but the big man doesn't let us use the machinery for our own jobs. When we ground the rods I had to do it all on the down low, that's not really something I could do with a block and head because unfortunately they wouldn't fit in my lunch box

lmao . put some wheels on it . say its the new office chair ...

Office chair? I'm an engineer not a fucking secretary

Have you done anything along the lines of you are downpipe ?

If mine catches now can imagine urs beeing flat as fook lol

Shortened isn't it?

Dunno .. seen he put a 4-2-1 on, Not sure if its been shortened mind

  • Author

Yeah put one on, after driving to pod and back it was pretty flat. It's not shortened yet but it will be, but that will have to wait till the engine is refitted and i'll probably knock up the rest of the system at the same time

Difference between you and Guy Jamie is the fact he's not scared haha, god know how he gets round his area with all the speed bumps anyway

Not the fact i aint scared.. Just fact i cant afford another one lmao ..
