mk4 cab was a mk3,

with the mk4 face glued on .

That's not really true. Everything except for the headlights is bespoke to the 3.5 cabs.

They all have disc brakes all round as well. The interior is much nicer than the mk3 ones cause it has the pimpled dash which is like a mk4 and has the red and blue lighting.

My wife has one and it's a really nice little car. Looked at mk1, 3 and 3.5 and the 3.5 is the best of the bunch. Requires the least maintenance and the most toys.

You could get a cheapo E-Class Merc convertible for that? Or a nice RX7 Convertible?
