I've been tinkering with my motor since i got it.

Just lowered it 40mm at the front.

Golf Mk2 steels - refurbished

on 175/50/14's

Golf black centre caps

Telescopic Ariel (hard to tell on pic)

-resprayed bumpers in textured bumper black

Had all of the bumps and dings repaired / fixed

Complete Respray in Tornado Red - All Done at Quality Body Repairs in Rotherham - proper mint job.

Mechanically i haven't changed much at all other than adding the 5 speed box from a CL, just keeping it happy - i get around 45mpg from the little 1ltr engine.

Next moves will be soundproofing the interior, i might drop the back down but i'm enjoying the stance at the moment and i want to clean up the engine bay.

Really didn't want to go too far with it and keep it standard with a little twist here and there.

That is so sweet! I agree with quicksilver-jake red stripes would work well.
