I'm 6ft 5 and I'm just wondering for the future what first car i will be able to drive comfortably in the future. I do want to get a polo but if i do get one it would be a 6n2, anyone my height had any luck with these or any other cars?

There's loads of really tall people on Club Lupo.

Think the seats go lower than mk5 Polo's, and the dashboard is different due to the differently angled windscreen, which all makes them feel really big in the front.

I know someone who's over 7ft, yes really, and he's had MK2 and MK4 Golf GTi's. He drove my Polo once but i dont know how he got on, because I'm 5' 10" and there aint much room for me in it.

A mate has a 6n2 openair and that aint exactly roomy either.

In the older polos (mk2, mk2, mk3) the corrado seats really do sit low. I looked like a child in mine.

Get a polo variant estate. I have plenty of room in mine :-)

I'm 6'4"+ and I find my mk1 Golf pretty good. The mk2/3 have the same room as does the Lupo. The Sierra 4x4 and mk1 Mondeo were good too. You could stretch out your clutch foot and almost touch the bulkhead.

The Mk4 polo isnt bad, my mate who was 6"6 had no trouble in his.

I can't beat the above, but i'm 6"3 and own a 6n Mark 4 Polo and i'm good for leg room. Not a great deal of leg room for the person who sits behind me though.

haha, i'm over 6ft. Mk3 polo i looked abit silly in. 6n2 suited me fine though. With seat all way down it wasnt too bad.

TT, well theres loads of room in that! Even with my height i still feel so low down with the doors being high

I'm 6'6" and fit in a polo absolutely fine also had a beat up old mini and sat fine in that only sold it bcos of the kids sitting behind me and sprouting lon legs :mad:

I'm around 6ft 3 and used to have a 6N2 i fitted in it fine although the passengers got no leg room. Only thing was my car was only a match so did not have height adjustable seats but headroom was still ok. I now have a 9N which seems to have slightly more room and has adjustable seats so i sit really low down. Passenger room is also slighly better in my 9N

just get a bready and cut a 3 ft section out of it and drive it from the back seats lol :)

Get GTI seats in your mk5, they go pretty low, I'm 6.2 and have loads of room.

I'm 6"4, and I've had polos all the way! :) My mk4 was best, with the 16v seats you can drop to the floor and push right back, loadsa room!

I've driven my mrs's saxo a bit recently and thats a nightmare!

I'm 6'3 and have driven a 6n2 with standard seats no bother.

Mk3 is fine as long as you buy corrado seats.

I'm 6' something so not as tall as some people here, but as long as you get a VW with the "sports" option seats with height adjust you should be fine. One of my Mk2 Golfs has Corrado seats in it and I can get the seats so I can barely touch the pedals and can't see over the steering wheel

I'm 6'3", My MK4 polo was fine for leg/headroom, especially with the CL seats, as they went pretty low. My old Ibiza GTi was also fine, same as the 6n, same shape seats as a valver and everything. They were both 3 doors.

Strangely enough my 5door MK2 golf is the least spacious inside, but that may be due to the massive leather sofas in there haha. Theres literally 3 inches between the rear seats and the back of my seat. Luckily its only a 4 seater, and theres always 5 of us who wanna go anywhere so it doesn't often get used for lifts.

I'm 6ft4 and mk1-3 polos are fine, just gotta get yo lean on

as others said, raddo or rocco seats will have you sat on the floor!

lupos are surprisingly headroomy!!

I am 6'5 and my mk3 polo is pretty good it is just what you feel comfortable in though my mk4 golf was great and had load's of leg room (sorry i know a golf hehe) :)
