Featured Replies

Right, been hoarding these for a while, ran both on my car recently, but have decided to change them for something else.

So what i have for sale:

Only bit of real damage, one clip is broken, but it did not effect how it fitted or stayed on my car...

Ok now onto the tinted version

Only one clip/bracket on each end, but still holds onto the car just fine :-)

Grill, clips are broken, but a zip tie held it on fine on my car for a couple of months.

The smoked lights.... done with luminx film. This was done as there is a chip on one of the lenses, this covers this and works fine. One of the adjusting brackets has had a little fix though.

There is one spare right had light as well.

So prices.....

For the clear light set up £140

And the tinted light set up £90

I can post these at cost, but would prefer pick up. Based in Reigate in Surrey

Thanks for the comments, did like these, but onwards and upwards they say...

Well it's a mk1 of sorts, it's a 78 derby, soon to be back on the road :-)

How did you tint the indicators boss?

How did you tint the indicators boss?

Didn't, they were lenses purchased like that, same as a small bumper mk2 golf or mk1 golf

do you need a bonnet to suit the lights or does that strip cover the normal gaps for lights

are these lights the same as mk1 derby lights?

The strip covers the cut outs for the lights... Have a look at the pics, on my mk2, it's got a standard bonnet. Although I have no idea if a derby bonnet is different, once fitted you would be hard pushed to know

are these lights the same as mk1 derby lights?

No. My mk1 derby has round lights... But they are not the same as the square lights on the mk1 derby's. They should fit most polo's 83 to 90 being the mk2 shape

do these fit on a mk2 bready?

The Mk2 fronts are the same on all versions, so will fit no problem.

Just need to drill a small hole in the light holder to get these to fit securely, which if you take them off will be covered by whatever lights you then run.

Someone interested?

These are cheap with the bonnet strip included with each set. These lights should have come with all mk2's

Bump for you!!

Thanks, Thought I had put them up for a good price.... Can't remember the last full set I saw for sale....

Any interest before I decide to keep them??

whats your best price on the tinted set

whats your best price on the tinted set

As already stated in the advert, and in a number of the posts they are up for a very reasonable price considering they include the bonnet strip, which is the hard to come by and also expensive part. I mean how often does that come up for sale on its own.

A set went without the bonnet strip in the last couple of months for £80.

All i can say is pm me an offer, and i will think about it.

Still got these, open to offers, but not insults
