I bought the wrong gearbox for my car :(

so this is up for sale, its from an N reg 6n, which had covered 47,000 miles

It is a rod change

I AM AFTER A CABLE CHANGE FOR 1.4 8V, if u have one, i will do a straight swap! or just buy it off you!!

hi mate random question sorry, I'm after one but i dont know if i need the cable or rod linkage box, do you know what year they changed it? mine is an S reg 1998 it has the newer style key if that helps

you will need a cable change mate, mine is R reg and i needed cable change!

cant beleive nobody is after a low mileage 6n gearbox???????????!

I've got a 1.4 8valve gearbox not sure if its rod or cable i think its rod. wudnt want much for it can only do collection tho. its out of a 1998 R reg polo, has a leak think the bolts need tightening.
