hi all, been on here just over a year but never got round to doing a build thread probably because i never thought it was good enough lol. so just going to throw a load of photo's on because i prefer the pic heavy threads on here haha!

decided to buy an older vw after smashing my astravan lol.

so bought this ... this pic wen id jst got it, march 2010.

bought it for £450 with good test but no tax was totally standard apart from a cherrybomb backbox exhaust even had the tapedeck.

had done 90,000 miles

that was about it apart froma stereo and sub and a few stickers here and there so just enjoyed the summer with it!!

unfortunately i did get pulled over by the police for my 8j's and so bought another two 7js so a lot of the ppics will just be full set of 7js

had been driving round in darkness inside the car so fit some new bulbs in clocks!

how much is it lowered by front and rear? put the pics of inside bulb change?

well its the philj shock and spring kit 80/90 ... think its around 90mm all way round at moment

then unfortunately winter was on its way aswell as working away i was doing 115miles on a monday and then 115 miles on a friday home!! nt good :(

so i took the ats off and was just running on the steels. i then sold hte ats to Jack Rawse 'Rawse' on here.

winter hit, stuck 115 miles away from my house in cleethorpes lol!

^^ also bought a bonnet bra but only had it on twice then also sold that to Jack Rawse 'Rawse' lol

currently stands like this still with steels on as i sold the ats classics an bonnet bra. and exhaust has broken just infront of cat so I'm currently at a bit of a loose end

with the car as not working at moment and few little rust blemishes that are annoying me!! but i guess wouldnt take much to have it back like it was only last summer!! Thanks for looking guys!!
