yeh but i was looking at the oval shape of both clocks and they look both the same apart from 6n2 is two circle clocks and 6n is just a complete unit but I'm sure it could wrk ?

I wanted 6n2 dials in my 6n, I did it :) and i'm happy with the results, here's a picture showing about 10% of the work involved.

WOW! looks like alot of work mate so do these 6n2 clocks plug to the original 6n wiring and do they fit in the 6n dash with no modding ?

pmsl no hes completely rewired his car as he uses stand alone management with 6n2 wiring and fitted a 6n2 dash

6n2 dials do not fit the 6n dash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but there practicly the same shape/size so why wont they fit 6n dash i really dont want the 6n2 dash :(

The 6n2 electronics are completely different to the 6n system, the use a can bus system to control the interface between the car and the clocks. Other things such as windows etc are different also as they run through a comfort module controller.

In short, it requires a dash conversion, alot of time, effort and patience.

You'd be better off converting the LED's in your existing clocks if you're after an easy life.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

there not even similar lol =D if youve got the late spec 6n dials then you can change the LEDS on them so that they are blue and red anyways

yeh my clocks have these lil sqaure leds soldered to the board and the only bulb (twist n lock) type is for the main beem. it just seems to me that its alot of work to get these clocks to what i want

yeh its a lot of work but well worth it!!!! =D

would these clocks fit and work from the original loom http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-POLO-1-4-TDI-2003...c#ht_1699wt_754

no, they're 9n clocks, you've got no chance.

i fitted mk4 golf clocks into mines looks sweeet! you should try they fit with a little bit of adjustment

first of the 6n2 clocks shape can be made to fit, just fabricate your own little plastic piece its not hard and also ok 6n2 clocks need the wiring for them to work but…..the clocks form a 1.0L lupo before the year 2000 or 2001 i cant remember exactly will plug in and work right away with no modifications to the wiring

Zander m , you got any pics of your dash? Sounds good.

Jordan, so early lupo clocks would drop into my late 97 6n?:)
