Hi there Guys and Gals. May I first say cracking site!

I have purchaced a 1988 Polo (Bread van) and have decided to play about with it a little bit! Monopoly is one our best drinking games (WITH A TWIST!!) Pass GO take a shot! Land on chance take a shot! Land on community chest take a shot and land on Go To Jail and guess what................... If you said take a shot your wrong!! Take 2 shots lol.
Now I know this is not to everyones taste or maybe no-ones taste but I thought I would show you Polo nutters and see what you think! It's taken me 2 weeks up to yet. Pic's hopefully to follow! Oh and its not finished yet either.

It's not as clean as it looks the sills and wheel arches were quite rotten took a bit of filler and mesh to get them right.

But it will last me a while and it's different apart from the de bumpered and paint its all original (oh and 16v bottle top alloys that are going on it) :-D

Struggled with wheels yesterday! Didn't know polos had such narrow arches!! Steep learning curv lol my cheep alloys don't seem so cheep any more!! Had to have different tyres put on them! :(

But I do like the look of them now I've painted them too. Think they are 16v Alloys (Bottle tops)

I know I should have masked off the tyres lol

Bit boring black needs something else......... Mmmmmm

although it's interesting and different what your doing to it, have to say i preferred the virgin innocence of it before you started brown dash too :-D

should be interesting to see how this turns out...

Wanna swap your good condition seats for my ripped ones? They are the same design just mine might suit your car a bit better.

Tis true that this car is different and not to all peoples tastes but I'm having fun and if I hadn't got my hands on him he would have been going to the big scrap yard in the sky.

I will try and keep you posted on all new mods and things that happen to Bren the Bred Van just fitted the wheels (Look MINT!!) 1000 watt amp and 210 watt 5.25 speakers tweeters at front on dash Sounds good too! As for Virgin Innocence lol Haven't seen one of them in a while hahahahaha

Well I have a few things planned for him to set him apart fron other rat cars..........behind the roof rack will be a monopoly game in full swing with bits stuck to it. Inside the door cards will remain as is as will the seats, The dash and metal parts of the doors and boot will be covered in indervidual monopoly notes then varnished over. I'm sure I will think of other stuff to do but you will have to wait and see hehehe

It's not lost I know where it is lol but thanks for the thumbs up on the alloys not bad for my 1st shot at alloy refurbing

Ok well progress has been slow the last few days as weather was windy and had problems keeping hold of my MONOPOLY money lol pva glue every where but its coming along!!

More to come but will wait untill the interior is completed! Enjoy the weekend guys and gals

Well how much fun is tinting windows!!!! NOT!!!! Got there eventually but its difficult if you have never done it before! Saved myself about £80 so happy days!

Don't know what to do next???????
