unfortunatley this little beastie isnt mine :(

i have been given it by a friend to fit an AFH engine with motorbike carbs, he decided to do this after having a ride in my saloon :p

i dont know too much back ground info on it apart from its on 196k and has a nackered 1.4 8v polo engine fitted at the moment

its had a fortune spent on welding as it was a bit of a wreck when he paid £300 for it nearly a year ago

not long after buying it, it was fully resprayed in its original colour mars red so apart from the odd part it looks immaculate

here it is so far, just given it a clean tonight and i started stripping the engine a few days ago, i will update as i get along with it :)

its not a GTI so wasnt fitted with it as standard

Too many GTI replica's flying around with all the GTI decals... This one's staying nice and clean red!

I'll be over sometime this work with some parts, we need to see Chris about paint!

i was bored this afternoon so cleaned the gearbox with some gunk and a pressure washer and gave it a coat of black hammerite :)

Yeh it has been fairly straight forward so far :) it had a nackered polo engine fitted already, we think it was a mk4 1.4 8v so we used the 085 box that was already attatched to that, its a real mish mash of bits though, its had a hard life by the looks of it haha

Cleaned the interior yesterday and got the exhaust connected up to the rest of the system :)

And another little video of the exhaust note which is a 421 straight through to a single box :)
