hi guys I've got a mk2 bready been on the road about 3 weeks my car has got 14" bbs rz 6.5j sunflower yellow with a polished lip and they look awsome but my car is lowerd 80mm (not low enough in my opinion) but as soon as someone gets in the back the rear arches scrub like fu**! I'm thinking of thirteens but dont wanna go narrow so any advice on what 13 would fit and be practical would be great. i was thinking 7j mini lights ot allycats any ideas?? ps my arches are rolled

why dont you just fit suitable size tyres. a 165/55 r14 tyre wont scrub on a breadie even if you completely removed the suspension. with breadies tyre choice is hugely important.

because the tyres that are on are brand new 175 55

You have been given advice that you have chosen to ignore.

Where abouts are they scrubbing? On the sides, or on the front/back of the tyre? I had my arches folded on the inside lip, and around the back of the arch too. This stopped any scrubbing issues for me. Might be worth looking info for you

i have not ignored the advice the tyres are brand new they are scrubbing on the side wall of the tyre

Fold the rear arch lip is your only option, unless you buy thinner tyres. Or get some metal machined of the back of the wheel to alter the offset

g40 jon gave you the best advice here dan go thinner if your lower than 40 drop its a must on a mk2 bready they are a bitch as the arches are not very wide or try some camber shims but then expect some uneven tyre wear to the inside
